The vGRID Hybrid Edge 40 is the perfect drop-in appliance for your SMB customers, deployed fully licensed with Microsoft Server 2016 and Veeam Backup & Recovery. The HE40 extends and replicates cloud based Active Directory and File Server functionality to the on-site LAN for users who need local file server access or users who cannot operate on terminal services based desktops (e.g Design Engineers). Putting the workloads where they belong, the best of both worlds!

Designed to provide on-site Active Directory, File Replication and Voice Services to the customer network with automatic integration and backup with vGRID Public Cloud. Peered with a PoE switch (or powered phones) this device will easily manage up to 16 extensions. File replication is achieved through use of Distributed File System (DFS).

The Edge 40 Appliance bundle comes with vGRID Cloud Access 200 (200Mbps/200Mbps) connectivity and internal storage expansion options up to 40TB.
